Finding it difficult to keep up with your blogs, Twitter, FB, Flickr, emails, chats, sms, PVR, Youtube Channels, Digg, etc…?

Below describes a typical day of the Digital Professional…

8:00 // Wake, spring out of bed, grab the iphone

8-9:00 // Check TweeetDeck accounts (4 separate accounts), check emails, weather, news, stock tickers

9-10:00 // Grab cereal, run to home office, check Web Analytics, Adwords, performance of dozens of sites for clients and personal

10-12:00pm // Updates and maintenance of sites, blogs, Twitter, FB….

12-12:30 // sit down at dinning table, away from office, iPhone in one hand, spoon in the other, taking calls, checking emails, sms, responding, posting, socialize on FB, Twitter, cell, sms — grab some water, run back to office. perhaps go out to grab lunch with friend, client…check in to FourSq.

12:30-5pm // planning, scoping, design, IA, coding, building…(of course, all the while checking emails, twitter, FB, sms, and still looking at analytics, and updating numerous other sites) 10 apps opened, with 8 tabs opened in FireFox/Safari. PowerBook dual monitors, PC laptop straddles the left wing. iPhone strategically placed in view.

5-7pm // dinner (see lunch above) Maybe go out for dinner, check in to Foursq.

7-8pm // Gym, iPhone in hand, TV turned to sports, news, or some home improvement show

8-11pm // movies, out or in home theater, check in to Foursq.

12am // one last check on client sites ensuring no emergencies

12am – 2am // go through mental exercise of what’s coming for 8am the next day

2am – 8am // perhaps some undisturbed sleep

Keeping up with the Drones’…we will prevail!
